On the evening of November 21, 2011, 200-300 occupiers and supporters of Occupy Columbia gathered at the South Carolina State House grounds to peacefully but purposefully defy Governor Nikki Haley’s 6:00PM curfew.
At around 6:45PM, officials informed the protesters that the curfew would not be enforced against those assembled, though the ban on tents and sleeping bags would remain.
